Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of YHWH; And he shall send Yahushua the Messiah, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which YHWH hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. (Act 3:19-21 KJV)

YHWH has spoken; the restitution of things through Yahushua through the holy prophets and that is what we are going to look at today. We are going to look at a couple of the prophets, and look at the word of YHWH regarding the restitution of all things. What a time it is going to be when this earth is restored and Yahushua returns.

We are in the Feast of Tabernacles, the Millennium on the Earth, Part 4 Session 4.

In past years we have recorded several sessions on the ‘New Beginning’ and ‘The Eighth Day’. There are several timelines which may be of use if you want to find out more about what the Eighth Day is about but fundamentally, it is about eternity.

We are going to finish our project on the Millennium on the Earth.

We have recorded three sessions and will complete this project that we have been working on over the last three or four months, and are now in Session 4

Session One was about the millennium eschatology, we looked into the different aspects of belief systems whether a person is an ‘amillennialist’, ‘premillennialist’ or a ‘postmillennialist’. We went into what the characteristics of those belief systems are.

In Session Two some questions came out of Session One regarding the different belief systems. The questions had to do with whether the kingdom of YHWH, the return of Yahushua and a millennial thousand years; was it literal or figurative? We answered some of those questions in Session Two and among them was a significant question that many people state which is that the church replaces Israel. We looked at that in depth and compared the scriptures, particularly looking at Romans 9, 10 and 11 on this subject. It was easy to see Paul’s conclusion of the matter is that the trunk of the tree is Israel and that grafting theology is what has happened that the Gentiles are indeed grafted on to the trunk of the tree.

We looked at a few other questions about the literal versus figurative second coming of Yahushua and that got us to Session Three.

In Session Three we started the first third or so of the presentation looking at some of the apostolic traditions that I was able to uncover. Among them were Papias, Barnabas and Justin Martyr. We looked at some of their writings to see how they fell and what they held to regarding the millennium period and the reign of Yahushua. It turns out that they talked about a physical, literal reign of Yahushua on this earth for a thousand years.

In the rest of Session Three we started looking at different prophecies about the governmental structure that the millennium will hold, what kind of environmental solutions that are going to be to the magnitude of huge problems that we have today and the environment that needs to be repaired and restored.

We saw how animal nature is going to be changed, that carnivorous animals are going to become vegetarians. In the conclusion of Session Three we looked at the kingdom blessings that YHWH has promised through the return of Yahushua.

Now we are in Session Four and we will put our attention on three chapters in the scripture. We will look at the millennium in prophecy and will highlight Isaiah chapter 61, 62 and Zechariah chapter 14. At the end of Zechariah 14 there is a discussion and scripture about the holiness that permeates the society. We will end this presentation regarding the holiness that will permeate the society in the millennial period of time. That has been an exciting part of uncovering YHWH’s word in this study that we have been partaking of.

Millennial Reign of Messiah
YHWH’s Favor – Isaiah 61

If I were to put a pericope on Isaiah 61 I would say that you could title it YHWH’s favor, YHWH’s blessings, YHWH’s grace. Let’s go into Isaiah 61 and the format will be pretty much the same for all three of these scriptural readings. I will make a comment to what the text is about and then read the following scripture. The first verse in Isaiah 61 is about Yahushua’s first coming.

  • Yahushua’s first coming

The Spirit of the Master YHWH is upon me; because YHWH hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of YHWH

We know that this scripture was what Yahushua read in the synagogue when he was on this earth in what we know is likely 27 CE. He read it at the early part, the first year of his actual ministry. Yahushua read this scripture in Luke 4:18. We will come back to that and highlight that towards the end of the presentation. When you start reading this account, this scripture clearly identifies Yahushua’s first coming and he validated it by stating it himself. The “me” here is Yahushua, and he was talking about “me” being the one that is coming.

He stopped at the beginning of verse two which is to proclaim the acceptable year of YHWH. He didn’t read any further because his mission in 27 CE when he was on the earth during his first coming was to proclaim the good news and the gospel. The next verse talks about his second coming and he comes before the millennium as we have gone over in the previous sessions. The next verse says:

  • Yahushua’s second coming – pre-millennium
and the day of vengeance of our Elohim; to comfort all that mourn

He certainly didn’t fulfill that in his first coming. That is yet to come, this is a highlight and a mention of his second coming, to comfort all that mourn. Those that come out of the tribulation, and it is going to be a real difficult time. The survivors are going to be comforted by the return of Yahushua and he is going to comfort all those that mourn when that happens.

  • Millennium begins – tribulation ends, new beginning

– To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion

This mourning has been going on because of all of the cataclysmic events that have just transpired. Notice the contrasting opposites in the next few verses

– to give unto them beauty for ashes contrasting opposites,
– the oil of joy for mourning contrasting opposites,
– the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness contrasting opposites,
– that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of YHWH
– that he might be glorified

You see the contrast here of that of a time of tribulation and oppression and it is being contrasted to a time of beauty, a time of joy, a time of praise, we are going to leave all of the heaviness, the mourning and the ashes behind.

  • Public works projects
    mentioned immediately following

– and they shall build the old wastes,

This would be the survivors that have gone into the millennium

– they shall raise up the former desolations,
– and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations (Isa 61:1-4 KJV)

You may ask who are “they”? I think it is a global effort but I think “the they” are specifically talking about the Israelites. We will see that coming up in the next verses. The next verses talk about farming and ranching practices that are going to flourish and will be provided by non-Israelites.

  • Farming and ranching practices – labor provided by non-Israelites.
    – And strangers H2114=zur=foreigner shall stand and feed your flocks
    – and the sons of the alien H5236=nekar=foreigner, abstractly heathen shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers,

My wife Linda and I have seen this scripture here and we were hoping for a fulfillment of this in the now. We could use some help feeding our small flocks and help with our gardening and farming. In the millennium the help is going to be there. Leadership is next and it may be a key to who the “they” are.

Leadership
– But ye shall be named the Priests of YHWH
– men shall call you the Ministers of our Elohim

‘You’ here, is the context and ‘you’ is ‘they’ in the previous verses.

Obviously this would be referring to the trunk of the tree, the Israelites, those that are part of the family of Abraham as well as those that have been grafted in as we have previously discussed. 1 Peter talks about these priests of YHWH also. Peter is talking about the priests that are a chosen generation.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: (1Pe 2:9 RNKJV)

These are Jews, Gentiles and Israelites that Peter is talking about. Again though, the trunk of the tree, those grafted into the trunk of the tree as well as those that are the remnant.

There are rewards of the saints that are going to be realized here. This includes the nation of Israel.

  • Rewards of the saints – including Israel
Ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles

We clearly should know that this would be Israelites when it is contrasted with the Gentiles. We have Israelites and we Gentiles and we are going to eat the riches of the Gentiles.

– and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
– For your shame ye priests shall have
double

The Israelites and the believers were persecuted before this and they were brought to shame but notice what it says here, those that had that situation, that were in the shameful state, you priests shall have double. I put in priests because that is the context of the previous couple of verses, the priests of YHWH.

– and for confusion H3639=disgrace, dishonor, shame they shall rejoice in their portion.

Again, the context here are the priests of YHWH, this would be the resurrected priests of YHWH that 1 Peter is talking about also in the New Testament assembly.

Therefore in their priests land they shall possess the double,

I think you have to say that the context of this is the priests that are a part of this scripture in Isaiah 61. Remember this is YHWH’s favor that this chapter is about.

– everlasting joy shall be unto them. (Isa 61:5-7)

We don’t want to forget that the scripture tells us that those that are resurrected in this period of time are kings and priests. We have seen that in several different places and will probably come up again. A couple of comparative verses, one is the Septuagint for verse 7 in Isaiah 61.

Thus shall they inherit the land a second time, and everlasting joy shall be upon their head.
(Isa 61:7 Brenton)

This subject of coming back a second time is interesting; the first time is referring to the time of the exodus in Egypt when Moses led the nation of Israel out of captivity. The second time that is being referred to is the time after the tribulation period when the second time the Israelites and those in captivity are going to be led out and be made free and have liberty just as Yahushua has talked about. Isaiah 11 says something very similar:

And it shall come to pass in that day, that YHWH shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria…Egypt….Pathros…Cush
(Isa 11:11 RNKJV)

There are several other nations that I didn’t include but I believe these to be the captives left from the tribulation period of time. It’s noteworthy in Isaiah because we are going to see it when we get to Zechariah that “in that day”, is a specific window of time that we will highlight when we get to Zechariah, but Isaiah mentions it a number of times also. Actually Isaiah uses the term “in that day” the most of any of the Tanakh, or the books of the Old Testament.

YHWH’s universal love for mankind is going to be realized also.

  • YHWH’s universal love for mankind
    – For I YHWH love judgment
    – I hate robbery for burnt offering offering damaged goods
    – and I will direct their priests work in truth
    – and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
  • Saints and Israelites revered and respected worldwide
    – and their priests seed shall be known among the Gentiles
    – and their offspring among the people.
    – All that see them shall acknowledge them
    – that they are the seed which YHWH hath blessed.

Isn’t that really pretty stunning? The seed and all of these people that have been rejected in the society as we know it today are now going to be known about and recognized as the leaders in this period of time.

There is also going to be gratitude shown by the redeemed remnant, these last few verses are interesting to parse out.

  • Gratitude of the redeemed remnant
    – I Isaiah speaking in MT – “they” (the priests) in LXX will greatly rejoice in YHWH,
    – my soul shall be joyful in my Elohim
    – For he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness,
    – as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments
    – and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. (Isa 61:8-10 KJV)
    cf. MSG

What a spectacle, a comparison to a marriage and a wedding when everybody is dressed to their best. Garments of salvation, robes of righteousness, what a comparison that is, and a bridegroom that decks himself with ornaments, this of course would be Yahushua and a bride which would be the New Testament assembly church grafted into the trunk of the tree adorned with all her jewels. What a beautiful setting this is.

The Message has an interesting way of relating these verses.

Because you got a double dose of trouble and more than your share of contempt, Your inheritance in the land will be doubled and your joy go on forever. “Because I, YHWH, love fair dealing and hate thievery and crime, I’ll pay your wages on time and in full, and establish my eternal covenant with you. Your descendants will become well-known all over. Your children in foreign countries Will be recognized at once as the people I have blessed.” I will sing for joy in YHWH, explode in praise from deep in my soul! He dressed me up in a suit of salvation, he outfitted me in a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom who puts on a tuxedo and a bride a jeweled tiara. (Isa 61:7-10 MSG)

This is quite graphic and a great description from the Message Bible on this set of verses.

  • Reality of YHWH’s plan of salvation – agrarian parable
    – For as the earth bringeth forth her bud,
    – and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth,
    – so the Master YHWH will cause righteousness
    – and praise to spring forth before all the nations. (Isa 61:11)

You see the agrarian comparison of an analogy that is made here. The earth brings forth her bud and the garden causes things that are sown to spring forth. YHWH will cause righteousness, so as that happens in the farming cycle, you can depend that when you put the seeds in the ground and then water and nurture and pray over them, that they are going to produce. So the Master YHWH will cause righteousness. Springing up from that is praise before all the nations. HalleluYah

  • Jubilee proclamation – Isa 61:1-2
    – Ezekiel baseline 574-573 BCE
    – 50 year cycle
    – 600 years 12 cycles =27-28 CE
    – Quoted by Yahushua
    – Reference – Sabbatical Jubilee study 8 sessions

To complete the dialogue here on Isaiah 61, I want to mention the Jubilee connection. Anyone that has studied into the Jubilee in any depth recognizes Isaiah 61, particularly verses 1 and 2 as having a Jubilee connection. I will mention that in the study of the Sabbatical and Jubilee that we have done, we have gone through and shown that there is a baseline Jubilee that Ezekiel proclaimed in 574/573 BCE. The Jubilee cycle as it was originally instituted was a 50 year cycle. Yes, in the second Temple it became a 49 year cycle. We will be presenting a new series of presentations on that a little later in the year.

The 50 year cycle is what was originally established. From Ezekiel’s proclamation of a Jubilee in 574 to 600 years later, or twelve fifty year cycles later, takes you to 27 and 28 CE in the first century. It happens to be that is when Yahushua quoted Isaiah 61 in the Synagogue at Nazareth and of course Isaiah 61 was documented in Luke 4:18. This scripture in Isaiah 61 that we have been going through has a real significant Jubilee connection as a result of the study that we have done.

I won’t go much more into detail other than to say what I have said, but if you are interested in the Sabbatical and Jubilee particularly the eight sessions that we have recorded on this, you can find them on the answersoflife.com website where you will find a tab marked ‘Sabbatical and Jubilee’, everything is laid out including transcripts for the study.

The scripture in Isaiah 61 has some real legs to it and Yahushua’s proclamation in 27 CE is the result of what was effectively a Jubilee in that day. They weren’t keeping it as a Jubilee in the Second Temple but Yahushua came on the earth, proclaimed his gospel message and initiated his project to complete the gospel in his first coming. That all happened and his ministry started in 26/27 CE and then in 27 when he made this proclamation lines up perfectly with the Jubilee cycle that we have discovered as a result of this study.

Millennial Reign of Messiah
Restoration of Zion and Jerusalem Isaiah 62

The next chapter that we are going to look at is Isaiah 62 which has to do with the restoration of Zion and Jerusalem. Zion and Jerusalem are typically used interchangeably although when you look into it technically there are two different spots juxtaposition on a map but near each other.

  • Zion is the poetic name for Jerusalem – Righteousness and salvation are going to prevail here so let’s start with Isaiah 62:1
    – For Zion’s sake will I not hole my peace,
    – and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest,
    – until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness,
    – and the salvation H3444=yesha=saved, deliverance, victory thereof as a lamp that burneth.

This word ‘salvation’ is an interesting one, if you check it on your own look in a concordance and do a search you will find that this word ‘salvation’ is the Hebrew word in Strong’s that translates to Yeshua, so the salvation that is being talked about here is a direct reference to Yahushua. It is talking about Him being the lamp that burns. You will see this reference if you study the Tanakh a hundred and fifty times to Yahushua. There is another Hebrew word that translates to Yeshua that you sometimes see also. It is really an amazing discovery to go through and every time you see the word ‘salvation’ Yahushua’s name or it may be Yeshua the name that comes up. This has been an amazing discovery for us to see the significance of what was originally and correctly the son of man, his original name.

In John 8 during the Feast of Tabernacles, what would likely been in 29 CE, Yahushua was at the Feast. He came halfway through the Feast and stayed through the Seventh Day; probably the seventh day that you see, the great salvation, the great day of salvation that is mentioned is really Shanna Rabbah not the Eighth Day. The Eighth Day was the following day and is when Yahushua talked about him being the light of the world. On Shanna Rabbah he talked about the rivers of living water. It still had to do with the Millennium but on the Eighth Day he talked about the light of the world and of course there is a lot more that goes behind what was going on at the Feast in those days with the traditions of the menorah and water libation and lulav ceremony.

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. (Pro 4:18 KJV)

That perfect day of the restitution of all things. You find that in Proverbs chapter 4 which is more than likely Solomon’s writings.

In John 8 the light of the world is being spoken of by Yahushua, him being the light of the world.

Then spake Yahushua again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (Joh 8:12 RNKJV)

It’s an easy connection to see that the salvation thereof is a lamp that burns is in fact Yahushua. Embedded is the pun in the verse exactly who Salvation is, and it is Yahushua.

  • Jerusalem restored and renamed
    – And the Gentiles shall see thy Jerusalem righteousness,

The entire chapter is about Jerusalem and in fact, I should probably say that it’s worthy to read Isaiah 60 which I haven’t included in this presentation but read Isaiah 60, 61, and 62 in the context of the fullness of all of those verses. What you see when you get to Isaiah 62 is that this context of Isaiah 62 is about Jerusalem.

YHWH hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen. (Psa 98:2 RNKJV)

– and all kings thy glory:
– and thou shalt be called by a new name
– which the mouth of YHWH shall name
– thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of YHWH
– and a royal diadem in the hand of thy Elohim. (Isa 62:1-3)

This is all about Jerusalem being restored and renamed.

  • YHWH delights in Jerusalem
Thou Jerusalem shall no more be termed Forsaken
    – neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate H8177=devastation, astonishment, waste:
    – but thou Jerusalem shall be called Hephzi-bah H2657=my delight,
    – and thy land Beulah H1166=baal=to be master, marry, be husband (united as one, completely joined and merged, symbolic):
for YHWH delighteth in thee Jerusalem, and thy land shall be married H1166=same (thy land shall be inhabited – LXX

This is an interesting scripture, talking about Jerusalem, how Jerusalem is His delight and your land is going to be called Beulah. That word Beulah means master or to be husband. It is getting to the context of being united as one and completely joined and merged, in other words, a symbiotic relationship between Jerusalem, the land, and the people.

If you have a background in farming, you realize your connection to the dirt. It is a symbiotic relationship that you learn to love, appreciate, and care for. That is what is being talked about here, Jerusalem is not going to be forsaken anymore, and it’s not just about the buildings it is about the actual land where Jerusalem has been built.

“For YHWH delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married”, the Septuagint says “your land shall be inhabited.” What comes out of this is the word ‘married’ is translated from the word ‘Beulah’, but it is like the husband and wife relationship, your land is married to you. You have a symbiotic relationship.

My wife Linda has talked to me about cooking certain things; you may put something in the oven that has seasonings and vegetables. The flavors and the contents of it together become ‘married’ as it seasons and as it simmers and cooks. Beulah is the same idea, the land becoming married, it is seasoned together; it is symbiotic with the people that live on it. It’s no longer taken advantage of and destroyed.

  • Jerusalem is respected and united with the people – symbiotic relationship established

This is in the same context of the land; keep this in mind

– For as a young man marrieth H1166=same a virgin,
– so shall thy sons
marry H1166=same thee: as a young man lives with a virgin, so shall thy sons dwell in thee – LXX
– and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride,
– so shall thy Elohim rejoice over
thee Jerusalem.

This is a happy time, YHWH is bringing blessings on the land and there is a restoration of Zion. Obviously restoration is a part of what we have been reading as the theme scripture in Acts 3.

  • Yahushua’s imminent return announced – Jerusalem restored and universally esteemed

The next few verses are like a thematic insertion or addition to the scripture. It is telling us that when it says “I have set watchmen upon thy walls”, I don’t think after the previous verse, it means before all of this happens, I have set a watchman upon your walls.

– I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, thematic addition
– which shall never hold their peace day nor night:
– ye that make mention of YHWH, keep not silence,
– And give him no rest, till he establish,

– and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. (Isa 62:4-7 KJV)

This has been an ongoing announcement and project to announce what is going to happen in Jerusalem and there have been efforts all along to establish the peace there day and night. People have proclaimed and have not been in silence of the significance of Jerusalem. It is the center of the earth; it is the place where the law goes forth from. There are people that have had no rest have continued to have this mantra. We have been somewhat part of that, we proclaim today that the law proceeds from Zion and it has been forgotten about by most religion and most people that the center of the earth is Jerusalem.

The end result is that this is going to be made the center of the earth and Jerusalem a praise in the earth. That is how Isaiah is considering this when Yahushua returns.

Millennial Reign of Messiah
Restoration of Zion and Jerusalem – Isaiah 62

  • Prosperity, abundance and worship as a result of Yahushua returning to the earth
    – YHWH hath sworn by his right hand,
    – and by the arm of his strength,
    – surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies;
    – and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine,
    – for the which thou hast labored:
    – But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise YHWH;
    – and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness H6944=quodesh =sacred, consecrated.

YHWH will no longer give the corn to be meat for your enemies – that is the way it has been. Not only in Jerusalem and Israel but all over the earth, there are a lot of dishonest transactions.

A word that we are going to start highlighting is ‘holiness’, it means ‘qodesh’ which means sacred or consecrated. I want to mention in this first verse, keep in mind where we are, Isaiah is writing this dating back to 725 or so BCE; this is the period of time when the Northern Kingdom was at the end of its rule. They were about to be taken over and go into captivity at the hand of the Assyrians and Tiglath Pileser.

The Southern Kingdom was a hundred and thirty years behind but ultimately would go into captivity by the Chaldeans under Nebuchadnezzar. “YHWH has sworn by his hand”, what is his hand? This is an interesting part of this scripture; his right hand is a direct reference to Yahushua and that is easy to prove. There are a number of scriptures that show this, I will just highlight a couple in the New Testament.

Him hath YHWH exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. (Act 5:31 RNKJV)

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; (Heb 1:3 RNKJV)

Most amazing to see Isaiah writing about this, YHWH has sworn by his right hand and it is talking about Yahushua at this point in time some twenty seven hundred years ago.

  • Exiles return – Yahushua returns to Jerusalem
    – Go through, go through the gates;
    – prepare ye the way of the people;
    – cast up, cast up the highway;
    – gather out the stones;
    – lift up a standard H5251=flag, signal for the people. (Isa 62:8-10 KJV)

Prepare for Yahushua’s return

This is from the Septuagint

Go through my gates, and make a way for my people; and cast the stones (stumbling stones) out of the way; lift up a standard for the Gentiles. (Isa 62:10 Brenton)
Gentiles invited

This is a preparation statement for the return of Yahushua. I have inserted stumbling stones, yes there is rubble in the way but there are also stumbling stones particularly for the Jews. There are stumbling stones but there is also rubble in the way that is being described here. All of the stones; or the stumbling stones are going to be taken out of the way. In other words, an announcement is going forth by holding a flag or the signal is what this is getting to. Yahushua is going to return and the Gentiles are invited to return to Jerusalem as well as the Israelites.

  • Yahushua returns – salvation given to the saints
    – Behold, YHWH hath proclaimed unto the end of the world,
    – Say ye to the daughter of Zion,
    – Behold, thy salvation H3468=yesha=liberty, deliverance cometh;
behold, his reward is with him,
    – and his work before him.

Keep in mind; this was twenty seven hundred years ago in Isaiah and he is saying behold, Yahushua, not Jesus. Salvation is from Yahushua. This is a stunning revelation for those who have ears to hear.

  • New character provided for Israel and Jerusalem
    – And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of YHWH

Holiness is mentioned again but now that Yahushua has returned, we have holy people, the redeemed of YHWH. Remember what Revelation 5 told us:

    • And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: (This is talking about Yahushua) for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to YHWH by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; (Rev 5:9 RNKJV)

– and thou shalt be called, Sought out H1875=tread or frequent, worship, A city not forsaken
(Isa 62:11-12 KJV)

There is a new character provided, character as in their belief system as in the properties on how they live and who they are. Yahushua is the only one that is worthy to open the book and open the seals. He has redeemed us by his blood and Isaiah says that his people are redeemed. We have to get to the first coming of Yahushua to know how that redemption is going to occur, only through the blood of Yahushua.

Thou shalt be called, Sought out, a city not forsaken”. It is still talking about the city here but the city is going to be sought out meaning to tread or frequent, it’s going to a city that people want to go to. It has to do with worship also.

That gets us to Zechariah 14; the theme in Zechariah 14 is “In that Day”.

Millennial Reign of Messiah
In That Day – Zec 14

If you read the fullness of Zechariah 14 you would see that theme come up time and time again when you read Isaiah

  • Yahushua returns to the Earth – second coming
And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives vs 4,
    – which is before Jerusalem on the east,
    – Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Yahushua, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. (Act 1:11 RNKJV)

And his feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives which is before Jerusalem on the east”. Keep in mind where Yahushua left from. When the men of Galilee were standing over by Bethany is what the verses in Luke and Acts tell us. When you read them together they were over by Bethany, it is on the Mount of Olives.

  • Geological restructure
    – and the mount of Olives shall cleave H1234=rend, rip in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, – and there shall be a great valley;
    – and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north,
    – and half of it toward the south….

He left from the Mount of Olives, and now his feet are going to stand on the Mount of Olives. There is going to be a major geological restructure.

I want to mention this theme of “in that day” that we are going to find and see it mentioned several times as we go through chapter 14. If you search out “in that day” in a Lexicon you are going see that “in that day” has 115 matches.

What you see on this list below is that two of the matches jump out with about half of the total. As I mentioned previously Isaiah has forty three matches for “in that day” and Zechariah has twenty matches for this term “in that day” so if you wanted to find out what “in that day” was about you could read Zechariah and Isaiah and I think you would get a pretty good understanding.

Incidentally, this is something that we went into detail on during the Memorial of Trumpets presentation series.

If you look at the Memorial of Trumpets presentation series Part 3 is “The Day of YHWH”, part 4 is “in that day,” you will see the highlights and the connections to some of these details that I am mentioning. Again, all of that is available in video and transcription format on Answersoflife.com.

When Yahushua returns to the earth there is going to be a major geological restructure. The earth is going to be restructured, we know that, the restitution of all things means restructure, and part of that restructure is going to start right here at the Mount of Olives and in Jerusalem.

“And the mount of Olives shall cleave” Cleave means to rip or rend, it is like tearing a piece of paper, the valley that is going to be torn is from east to west which means that the mountains on either side of that, to the north and to the south are what is going to move. Half of the mountains remove to the north and half of them to the south. We jump to Zechariah 14:

  • Saints accompany Yahushua
    – and YHWH my Elohim shall come;
    – and all the saints with thee

Don’t you look forward to that day? Does your belief system allow for you to be a part of the saints that are going to return with Yahushua? That is our goal and objective, we want to be there with Yahushua.

  • Unparalleled astronomical events
    – And it shall come to pass in that day
    – that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
    – But it shall be one day which shall be known to YHWH, not day, nor night
    – but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. (Zec 14:4-7 RNKJV)

This is an interesting way of describing the sun and the moon changing and it isn’t totally clear what this is exactly but the light shall not be clear or dark. My mind’s eye view makes me think of twilight or ben ha-arbayim if you have looked into what ben ha-arbayim really is, it is the twilight period after sunset but there is still plenty of light. I think that is what this is getting at.

This particular scripture says it will be one day which shall be known to YHWH, not day or night. I wonder if this is just a one day event that highlights his return or a one or two day event. Interestingly enough, when we look at this and back up to where we were in Isaiah chapter 60 we see something very similar mentioned.

The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but YHWH shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy Elohim thy glory. Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for YHWH shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
(Isa 60:19-20 RNKJV)

It appears to me that Isaiah 60 has to do with the period of time that is actually Shemini Atzaret, the Eighth Day going on to eternity. I take Isaiah 60 as that is talking about the same event. This is ongoing when Isaiah 60 talks about it. It starts and it is ongoing. I wonder in the millennial period which is a thousand years before the eternal period in Isaiah 60 that I think is being referenced there. I wonder if this is a harbinger or a prototype to show the earth what is ultimately going to be a thousand years later, or will this be the way that millennium has the sun and moon in a twilight fashion during the entire thousand years? I don’t know for sure but I suspect this is a one day event that is being talked about, it is something that you can consider on your own and do your own study. In any case, there are unparalleled geological events.

There is a fault line that is known about today that transfers right through generally the east and west through the Mount of Olives and just south of the Temple area. This fault line was discovered back in the 1960’s. If you were to do a search on it you will see lots of geological evidence of it and also a lot of technical details about it.

D:\Documents\Spiritual\HolyDaysFall\PowerPoint Presentations\FOTPt4V3session4MillenniumInProphesyIsa61Isa62Zec14HolinessforWord\Slide4Copy.jpg

This fault line goes from the northeast to the southwest, and as a side note, there is a hotel that is constructed on the Mount of Olives called the Intercontinental Hotel was built towards the western side of the Mount of Olives in 1962. During the initial construction is when they discovered this fault line and they actually terminated the construction of where they were building it and moved it. They moved it several hundred yards to get it off of the exact fault line that had been discovered. Incidentally if you look this up you will see that the International Intercontinental Hotel is now called Seven Arches Hotel but it is one in the same place and has an interesting story and legacy about this fault line.

Yahushua could be standing anywhere on this mount of Olives and this tear that occurs in the area that is north of the Temple area would go north and the area that goes south would move south. Hopefully this map gives us an idea of how that will unfold.

  • Living water source emanates east and west from Jerusalem
    – And it shall be In that day,
    – that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem;
-half of them toward the former sea dead sea,
    -and half of them toward the hinder sea Mediterranean;
-in summer and in winter shall it be.

I want to mention that “in that day” is a window of time. It isn’t just a one day event and if you study it, I don’t think you will see it as a one day event. It is the events that occur at the end of the tribulation just before Yahushua returns and then going into the early part of millennium. In that day is a window of time not just one single day.

Let’s take a look at a couple of support scriptures for this, this living water that emanates east and west has an interesting companion when Yahushua was at the Feast in 29 CE in John chapter 7 he is speaking. Most people relate this to the Eighth Day, but when you study it I believe you will find out that it is Shanna Rabbah in Judaism. Shanna Rabbah means the great salvation.

We won’t go into the details of that other than to say that you can find a couple of presentations in the Eighth Day series in the video section about Yahushua’s Feast of Tabernacles and Eighth Day, there are two sessions about that. Yahushua comes to the Feast of Tabernacles and the Eighth Day.

In the last day, that great day of the feast, Yahushua stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

There is an insertion that I don’t believe Yahushua said but was probably added by John the author of this at some point in time after Yahushua’s crucifixion because the note says:

(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Spirit was not yet given; because that Yahushua was not yet glorified.)
(Joh 7:37-39 RNKJV)

Notice that it says “Holy Spirit”, that word ‘Holy’ is permeated throughout the New Testament as well particularly with ‘Holy’ and ‘Spirit’. Here is the spiritual event of the flowing of living waters but that is in comparison to physically and literally what is going to happen. This flow of waters east and west from Jerusalem, notice that it is living waters so we have a physical representation of living water and then a spiritual representation of living water. It is interesting to talk at where we see this water flowing from in other accounts. There are three places that living water is mentioned flowing out of Jerusalem.

This account in Zechariah 14 is obviously the return of Yahushua. But notice the difference in the account in Ezekiel.

Ezekiel Temple water flows only east

Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar. (Eze 47:1 RNKJV)

Water is coming out here, notice where it goes.

And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from En-gedi even unto En-eglaim both S. Dead Sea locations ; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea Mediterranean still exists , exceeding many.
(Eze 47:10 RNKJV)

New Temple after Babylonian exile
Reference – Historical Passovers Session 2 answersoflife website

You see that the water goes to the south and out to the Mediterranean location. Both of the places that are mentioned are the Dead Sea. The Mediterranean isn’t mentioned other than by comparison that it has many fish. The Ezekiel Temple that is mentioned in Ezekiel 40 to 48 shows a stream of living water but it goes east. It doesn’t go west, and why is that? Again, you could take a look at the reference in the Historical Passovers; I go into detail into this.

As I have thought about this, why does Zechariah have stream of living water going east and west? Ezekiel has it only going east and one more surprise is in the New Heaven and New Earth there is no sea.

New Heaven and New Earth

No more sea (Rev 21:1)

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of YHWH and of the Lamb. (Rev 22:1 RNKJV)

This river has no termination mentioned with it. I suspect what we have here in Ezekiel as we have discussed before, particularly in this historical Passover section on the website. Ezekiel 48 is about the Temple that was to be originally built by Zerubbabel with Ezra and Nehemiah. That Temple was never fully constructed. If the Israelites would have followed the blueprints the stream of living water would have flown. Basically the stream of living water is reference to YHWH’s Spirit; I think we see that clearly, particularly when we look in John chapters 7 and 8.

The stream of living water in Ezekiel’s time, YHWH’s Sprit was going to be given if they would have obeyed but they didn’t. It was going to be given in the Promised Land, so the Israelites would have ended up having YHWH’s spirit with them and in them. When we get to Zechariah 14 the water not only goes to the Promised Land and to the Dead Sea, but it goes to the rest of the world through the Mediterranean. YHWH’s spirit is given universally in this source in Zechariah 14, as we know the Millennium will proceed from Zion, but we know that YHWH’s spirit is going to be given out totally to many people.

When we get to the New Heaven and New Earth there is no more sea so this is a spiritual entity. The hypostasis of the New Heaven and New Earth is spirit; it’s not physical in any way. Yes, it is literal but it isn’t physical; that may be hard for us to get our minds wrapped around. There is no more sea because there isn’t a physical earth for water to reside on. In other words, Einstein’s equation of relativity is no longer applicable e=mc2 , there is no more mass, everything becomes spirit in the New Heaven and New Earth that Revelation 21 is talking about.

I’ve wondered about this in the past and I think it might be a reasonable explanation to what I have just described to see how these different paths of this water were intended to go and ultimately how YHWH’s spirit transfers out from the New Jerusalem into the entire universe.

Millennial Reign of Messiah
In That Day – Zec 14

  • Living water source emanates east and west from Jerusalem
    – And it shall be in that day,
    – that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem;
    – half of them toward the former sea Dead Sea;
    – and half of them toward the former sea Mediterranean
    – in summer and in winter shall it be.
  • Worldwide theocratic monarchy established
    – And YHWH shall be king over all the earth;
in that day shall there be one YHWH, and his name one.

There isn’t going to be multiple names of YHWH. If you look at the Tetragrammaton today there are multiple renderings of how to pronounce it. Some think it is Yahweh, some think it’s Yahovah, some think it’s Yahuah, some think it’s Yahovah. I’m not here to say which one is right or wrong but there is going to be one name when it all finally comes down. His name will be one; of course that oneness translates into purpose, character and belief and also into unity. It’s interesting that it says there is one YHWH and he will have one name.

  • Geological restructure – Jerusalem exalted on Mt. Zion surrounded by flat plains
    – All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south or Jerusalem:
    – and it Jerusalem shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place,
    – from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate,
    – unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses.

A geological restructure is going to happen, here is that word restructure or reconstitute. Jerusalem is going to be exalted on Mt. Zion, in other words it is going to be lifted up and surrounded by flat plains. If you go over to that part of the world you go to the center of the earth. You will probably be walking on relatively flat ground and see out in the distance Mt. Zion in Jerusalem that have been lifted up, they have been raised up and sitting on a pedestal if you will, for all to easily see. It will be a safe and secure environment, men shall dwell in it.

  • Safe and secure environment
    – And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction’
    – but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited (Zec 14:8-11 RNKJV)

When we get to the next few verses in Zechariah 14 there appears to be a parenthetical flashback. Obviously there was a war that occurred before Yahushua returned to the earth and put down the armies that were fighting against each other and against him. These confederated Gentile nations were destroyed. How did that happen? I believe the next few verses show us that.

  • Parenthetical flashback – confederated gentiles nations destroyed
    – And this shall be the plague H4046=by analogy defeat, slaughter
    – wherewith
    YHWH will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem;
    – their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet,
    – and their eyes shall consume away in their holes,
    – and their tongue she will consume away in their mouth.
    – And it shall come to pass
    in that day,

Here is a part of that window of time, remember what I said that some of the events of ‘in that day’ occur before the millennium during and after the tribulation in those days? When this destruction and overcoming of the Gentile nations take place, there is going to be a panic that YHWH puts in the hearts of these men.

  • Battle panic created by YHWH
    – that a great tumult H4103=confusion, uproar, destruction from YHWH shall be among them;
    – and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour,
    – and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor.
    And Judah also shall fight at in-LXX Jerusalem;

Mankind is going to be against mankind, neighbor against neighbor. According to the Septuagint it says that Judah will fight ‘in’ Jerusalem, what does that mean? What is Judah going to do? It’s a controversy when you search out the alternatives. Who is Judah fighting? Is Judah in Jerusalem now or their some Jews that are fighting that have become the apostate occupiers? Is it the invaders that are surrounding it? You can see both versions of this on different sides of this controversy. I see in a couple of translations, the RSV and CJB, that the word ‘against Jerusalem’ is used, here is what it says:

Even Judah will fight against Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the nations round about shall be collected, gold, silver, and garments in great abundance. (Zec 14:14 RSV)

Y’hudah too will fight against Yerushalayim; and the wealth of all the nations will be assembled — gold, silver and clothing in great abundance. (Zec 14:14 CJB)

You see some translations that translate Judah fighting against what would be the apostate occupiers and we see other translations that would suggest that they are fighting the invaders that are external.

  • Failed Jerusalem offensive by wealthy gentile allied nations
    – and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together,
    – gold, and silver, and apparel H899=covering, treachery or pillage, from H898=to cover, act covertly, offend, in great abundance

In any case, the failed Jerusalem offensive is going to be taken care of by Yahushua returning and there are going to be wealthy gentile nations that will be allied together. It was interesting to see the word ‘apparel’ in Hebrew that means covering. Covering also means treachery or pillage and it’s from a base that means to cover or act covertly or offend so it makes me wonder when I read this that yes, the wealthy nations have gold and silver but are they acting treacherously or secretively or in a clandestine way to try to take Jerusalem at this point.

Notice this plague that was originally was talked about how the people are plagued with consumption on their feet, their eyes and their tongue and body is consumed. The animals face the same demise, the same judgment.

– And so shall be the plague H4046=same of the horse, And this shall be the overthrow of the horses, miles….LXX
– of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, same divine judgment: vs 12 – flesh, eyes and tongue shall consume away
– and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague H4046=same.
(Zec 14:12-15 RNKJV)
.

All of this section of Zechariah is talking about this plague that the people are subject to but the animals that are part of these gentile armies are going to be subject to the same demise.

There are some survivors of the adversarial pre-millennial nations that are going to be in the millennium. That is what this shows us, it may be somewhat a surprise that the survivors wouldn’t be the ones that were fighting YHWH and Yahushua. The survivors are the ones that are still on the earth.

  • Some survivors of adversarial pre-millennial nations accept YHWH
    – And it shall come to pass,
    – that everyone that is left those that did not fight against Jerusalem of all the nations
    – which come against Jerusalem,
    – shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, YHWH of hosts,
    – and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

When Yahushua returns yes, there is going to be a lot of death and destruction. Those that fight against him and those that are part of the beast system are going to be taken out, that is what the scriptures show us. Apparently there are going to be some that make the transition that lived in the tribulation period that were part of these Gentile nations that they are going to come. It says that everyone that is left are going to go up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

I guess by that point in time people are going to be eager, ready and willing to accept Yahushua.

Some millennial Gentiles are still going to reject YHWH, in other words, sin is still going to be relevant in society particularly in the early stages I would think. This will be a transition; it isn’t going to be that all of a sudden one day the world is going to be without sin, there will be a transition.

  • Some millennial gentiles reject YHWH – sin still relevant
    – And it shall be,
    – that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth
    – unto Jerusalem to worship the King, YHWH of hosts,
    – even upon them shall be no rain.
    – And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain;
    – there shall be the plague,
    – wherewith YHWH will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
    – This shall be the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. (Zec 14:16-19 RNKJV)
  • Still too busy for YHWH – excuses

It is an interesting scripture and it is hard to read this and not realize that we are going to be keeping the Feast of Tabernacles in the millennium. Why wouldn’t we be doing that now? Mainstream Christianity says that it has all been done away with, well; if it has been done away with it is going to be brought back. We don’t consider it to be brought back; it’s applicable today, part of YHWH’s Torah.

There are people still in the millennium that are still going to be too busy for YHWH. They will have excuses and that reminded me to include this parable in Luke chapter 14 that talks about the banquet. This is a parable that is applicable today and we have this year run into a number of different people and every one of them have their excuses of why they don’t want to dig deeper into the word of YHWH and have Bible study to talk about the subject. Some people start to get nervous and antsy and can’t wait to leave so they don’t have to talk about it anymore. This happens whether you are on the phone, in person, or somebody that you happen to meet. It’s pretty interesting.

The banquet here is an interesting parable:

Then said he Yahushua unto him, A certain man talking to a Pharisee made a great supper, and bade many: And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come. (Luk 14:16-20 RNKJV)

The one excuse that I like is the one that says he just bought a new five yoke oxen setup for my farm and I have to go exercise them, he is too busy to come to the banquet that you are calling me to. Call me another day my Father.

There are still excuses going on in the millennium I’m sure. It is all going to flip we have mostly rejects of the gospel today and in the millennium it’s going to be mostly acceptance of the Gospel message.

Millennial Reign of Messiah
In That Day – Zec 14

Holiness is going to permeate society; this is the exciting part of this presentation that has been so revealing to us.

  • Holiness permeates society
    – In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, holiness H6944=qodesh=a sacred place or thing, consecrated from H6942=to be ceremonially and morally clean unto YHWH;
    – and the pots in YHWH’s house shall be like the bowl’s before the altar
    – Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be
holiness H6944=same unto YHWH of hosts:
and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe H1310=bashal=boil up, sodden therein:
    – and
in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite H3669=by implication a peddler, merchant, trafficker
    – in the house of YHWH of hosts (Zec 14:20-21 RNKJV)

The translation of the word Canaanite probably has to do with merchants and peddlers in the house of YHWH. People that were trying to make money from religion, not to many of those today I guess.

In any case, notice “in that day”, that there are events before the millennium, and now “in that day” after the millennium starts. I have always pondered whether there will be sacrifices in the millennium. As I have grown to understand Ezekiel 40 to 48, I don’t believe that is talking about the millennium anymore. As I mentioned, it’s talking about the time when the Israelites returned out of captivity when Cyrus the Great announced that anybody could go back to the Promised Land that wanted to go. That was 539 BCE when Zerubbabel went back. Ezekiel wrote about the Temple that would appear that he wanted to be constructed at that point in time. Again, the living water going throughout the land of Israel, not out to the world.

What about this scripture in Zec 14? Obviously this is talking about the time in the millennium and the Feast of Tabernacles and of people sacrificing. Let’s take a deeper look at this because I have some new considerations about this.

Take a look at the types of sacrifices as we have studied more into this and learn more about them. We say ‘sacrifices’ when really it isn’t one size fits all. I think we could say there are three types, or categories of sacrifices.

D:\Documents\Spiritual\HolyDaysFall\PowerPoint Presentations\FOTPt4V3session4MillenniumInProphesyIsa61Isa62Zec14HolinessforWord\Slide5copy2.jpg

One is commitment to YHWH – burnt offering and meal (grain, gift. The scriptures don’t use this terminology but if you read about what a burnt offering and meal offering is about you will find it is about your commitment to YHWH. Burnt offerings are those that are a total holocaust, they are burnt up. Meal offering can be burned up or can be shared with the priesthood.

Another type of sacrifice is communion with YHWH called a peace offering. That sacrifice is that only some of the fat and some of the internal organs of the animal are burnt; the rest of it is eaten. We would see that as a thanksgiving or a peace offering in the scriptures. Peace and thanksgiving offerings are what they sacrificed for communal meals so the Israelites as well as the priesthood got to eat of that.

Of course there is the third type which is cleansing. That would be the sin and trespass offering, in the past, we have tended to think of sacrifices are about sin offerings but there are these three types that hopefully these new terms that I am cataloguing them with ‘commitment’, ‘communion’, and ‘cleansing’, show a different perspective on what these sacrifices are for.

Could we have sacrifices the millennium? We certainly won’t have sin offering because in the New Testament Hebrews Yahushua’s sacrifice is one time for all. We certainly could have peace offerings and burnt offerings. Peace offerings mentioned particularly because they that sacrifice are going to seethe them therein. Seethe means to boil up; it is a Hebrew word ‘bashal’. It is the same sacrificial kind of a sacrifice that were peace offerings for the Passover, you see this in the scriptures and we have talked about it in the past, it seems to us that this has finally come together; peace offerings could well be what is being talked about here, it certainly wouldn’t be sin offerings. Hopefully that gives a little insight on how this might be possible in Zechariah.

Some people try to justify the sacrificial system as memorials including the sin offering. People might say that it says we are going to have sin offerings in the millennium because of what Ezekiel says. If that is what YHWH wants, that is what we will do no question about that but I am trying to understand how Yahushua can be the sacrifice once for all and in the millennium there will be no need for a sin sacrifice because he is it. There certainly could be a need for a peace sacrifice and the seething and boiling therein.

This word ‘holy’ and its significance is has six hundred and eleven total matches, and their translations come out pretty interesting.

D:\Documents\Spiritual\HolyDaysFall\PowerPoint Presentations\FOTPt4V3session4MillenniumInProphesyIsa61Isa62Zec14HolinessforWord\Slide6copy2.jpg

If you look at everyplace that is 49 or more, then you see that Exodus has a huge number of scriptures that include ‘holy’, Leviticus has the most and it isn’t surprising, Leviticus is sometimes referred to as the holiness code. Specifically the holiness code isn’t the full book of Leviticus though but it is the sections of Leviticus 17 to 26 where you see an emphasis on holiness, sacrifice and Torah.

Isaiah has a large number as well as Ezekiel and Acts and as I mentioned in Acts, the Holy Spirit is what is usually translated for the word holy. I have included one of the singular references of Haggai and we will get to why Haggai becomes important in the holiness equation.

Holiness is a standard of excellence. 1 Peter shows us that holiness is significant in importance.

But as he which hath called you is holy G40=hagios=sacred, pure, blameless, so be ye holy G40=same in all manner of conversation G391=behavior, conduct; Because it is written Lev 11:45, Lev 19:2, Be ye holy G40=same; for I am holy G40=same. (1Pe 1:15-16 KJV)

For I am YHWH that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your Elohim: ye shall therefore be holy G6918=qudosh=from H6942, for I am holy H6918=same. (Lev 11:45 RNKJV clean and unclean animals)

And YHWH spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy H6918=same: for I YHWH your Elohim am holy H6918=same. (Lev 19:1-2 RNKJV sabbaths, idols, commands)

Incidentally, in Leviticus 11 holiness has to do with clean and unclean animals so we see holiness spread across a wide spectrum of subjects. In the New Testament this word holy has gotten my attention. I hadn’t discovered this before a couple of weeks ago, Colossians talks about holiness, because it’s the saints, the saints are holy.

To the saints G40=hagios=sacred, pure, blameless and faithful brethren in the Messiah which are at Colosse: Favour be unto you, and peace, from YHWH our Father and the Master Yahushua the Messiah. (Col 1:2 RNKJV)

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet G2427=enabled to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints G40=same in light: (Col 1:12 RNKJV)

Both of these examples using the translation as saints, meaning those that are saints, and that would be us, are holy according to this, or we are to be holy. Are we? This has gotten my attention.

Millennial Reign of Messiah
In That Day – Zec 14

  • Holiness permeates the society
  • Standard of excellence

That’s what it says in Zechariah, holiness is even on the bells of the animals, it’s on the plates and on the pots that the people are using for dinner.

– Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy G6942= same (Exo 20:8 KJV)
– These are the feasts of YHWH, even holy G6944=same convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. (Lev 23:4 RNKJV)
– After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed G37=from G40=hagios=to make holy, purify, consecrate be thy name. (Mat 6:9 KJV)

That should tell us the importance of our Father’s name. It is holy, it is pure and has been consecrated, and we shouldn’t defile it or bring it to naught in any way.

– And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy G40=sacred, pure, blameless, holy G40, holy G40, YHWH El-Shaddai almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. (Rev 4:8 RNKJV)

To the saints G40 and faithful brethren in the Messiah which are at Colosse: Favour be unto you, and peace, from YHWH our Father and the Master Yahushua the Messiah.
(Col 1:2 RNKJV)

Blessed be the Elohim and Father of our Master Yahushua the Messiah, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in the Messiah: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy G40 and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of Abraham of children by Yahushua the Messiah to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his favour, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. (Eph 1:3-6 RNKJV)

How are we accepted? We are forgiven of our sins; we have to repent and surrender to YHWH’s will and put our attention on being made holy.

Millennial Reign of Messiah
In That Day – Zec 14
Holiness

  • Standard of excellence
    – Holy Synonyms
    Divine, pure, clean
    Faithful, upright, chaste
    Sacred, consecrated, faultless
    Blameless, just, sanctified
    Spotless, uncorrupted, undefiled
    Untainted, unworldly, venerated
    Virtuous, set apart

Do these synonyms define your character, your belief system or your relationship with YHWH? Are we with any faults? It’s a tough question to ask yourself because if you are honest with yourself, we all need to get rid of our faults. There can be no case built against the blameless to make them guilty.

Spotless is one that my wife Linda and I talk about now and then, we have this figurative white gown that we want to be wearing, our white robe, do we have spots on it? I relate it to having gravy stains on it, I drop some of the gravy from my carnal self onto this white gown and now it isn’t spotless anymore.

Do we have any corruption and are we undefiled and worldly? The world likes to encroach upon us. Actually, when I started to put attention on this section of the presentation I realized how much the world encroaches upon us on the intranet and TV. We have gotten rid of TV for the most part because we don’t like the worldliness, the lack of consecration that we see from advertising to stories and the news that is given. How about being virtuous and set apart?

Are these synonyms part of your character, being and love for YHWH and your fellowman?

Notice what is not included in the synonyms of excellence and holiness:
– Doing the best I can
– I’m basically good
– Close is good enough
– 99.9% conformity

Saying that I’m doing the best I can is like being on the fence. Saying I’m basically good, I have said these things so I’m not talking about other people, I have said these things myself in the past. What about the idea that 99.9 percent conformity is pretty good but is it total conformity? No, yet a little bit of the time we aren’t in conformity and that would be unholy.

Now we get to Haggai, the reason I put Haggai on the list of the holiness scriptures. In chapter 2 of Haggai, there is a little section that is significant. It has to do with the transmittal of holiness versus being defiled. Haggai and Zechariah were contemporary around 500 BCE so this was the time that the Israelites returned from captivity. Zerubbabel, Ezra, and Nehemiah were part of the leadership and priestly structure and Haggai is writing through YHWH talking to these priests.

Thus saith YHWH of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying, If one bear holy H6944=qodesh=a sacred place or thing, consecrated, from H6942=quodash=to be ceremonially and morally clean flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy H6942=same? And the priests answered and said, No. Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean H2930=tawmay=to be foul, defiled, contaminated by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean. (Hag 2:11-13 RNKJV)
Holiness does not transfer
Defilement does transfer
No reciprocity

  • Holy = perfect conformity

If you are carrying something holy and you touch something that isn’t holy, maybe not necessarily defiled, but if you touch something with your holiness that isn’t holy shall it be holy? No. What does this tell us? You have to think about this scripture and study it on your own; it’s why I mentioned it in the last session.

Haggai chapter 2 is something that we are going to talk about. Holiness does not transfer, if you have your white gown on, your white gown isn’t going to transfer holiness to something it touches. However, if something that is unholy, particularly something that is defiled touches you, that does transfer. What is interesting if you think about this is that there is no reciprocity between holiness and defilement. What it boils down to is holy and holiness comes down to perfect conformity, not 99.9 percent.

D:\Documents\Spiritual\HolyDaysFall\PowerPoint Presentations\FOTPt4V3session4MillenniumInProphesyIsa61Isa62Zec14HolinessforWord\Slide7copy2.jpg

YHWH alone is holy, nobody else, we can’t be. We ask for forgiveness, we seek holiness and hopefully I have given you some pointers. We must become holy; we must put our attention and become holy. I would tell you that probably the biggest problem that I see in my life is the defilement that touches are external and are typically unexpected. I get a phone call, a newspaper or something seen on the intranet that is just raunchy and defiled and that is what defiles my holiness.

Millennial Reign of Messiah

  • Millennium on the Earth
  • First resurrection
  • Elect are priests

We have gone through a lot of material during the last four sessions. I started with this scripture in Revelation 20, the millennium on the earth. Hopefully by now you see the literalness of this as a result of this study. It is no longer allegorical in your mind’s eye thinking; it is literal and is going to come. It could come any day; the tribulation could come and start a clock that counts down to the return of Yahushua.

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Yahushua, and for the word of YHWH, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Messiah a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy G40=hagios=sacred, pure, blameless is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of YHWH and of Messiah, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (Rev 20:4-6 RNKJV)

The first resurrection is before us and those that make the cut to the first resurrection are going to live and reign with Messiah a thousand years. The second death will have no power over you. They will be the elect, the priests and kings as we have seen in other scriptures.

  • 1000 year reign on the earth

And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints G40=same. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to YHWH by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our Elohim kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. (Rev 5:8-10 RNKJV)

I hope you see the literalness of this as a result of this study. That would be one tremendous outcome to see the literalness of this; this isn’t allegorical in your thinking if that is how you started.

But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. (Psa 37:11 RNKJV)

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. (Mat 5:5 RNKJV)

There are a couple of scriptures about the meek, one in Psalms and the other in Matthew, the Sermon on the Mount.

Millennial Reign of Messiah

  • The main thing…
I always want to remember the main thing. It is important don’t forget and always remember the main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing. That’s the main thing.

The main thing we have been focusing on is Yahushua Messiah and it has to do with the reconstitution that is only going to happen through Yahushua. The scripture that we have used as the theme at the beginning and end of all of the presentation is Acts chapter 3:

  • Reconstitution only through Yahushua

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,

It’s a process. You can’t just say that Yahushua is going to blot out my sins; you have to recognize that you have to repent, you have to change. The word ‘repent’ means to think differently, not thinking with the old patterns.

when the times of refreshing G403=recovery of breath, revival (only occurrence) shall come from the presence of YHWH;

The ‘times of refreshing’ only has one occurrence in this rendering of the Greek word, G403 and it’s interesting that it means recovery of breath. I started thinking about that, if you go on a long walk, hike or run. Maybe you work hard and get to the end and you are just exhausted. Perhaps you climbed a big mountain and when you got to the top, you got to sit down and have a drink of water and recover your breath. That is the refreshing that is going to come. We are going to be refreshed and we shall come from the presence of YHWH.

And he shall send Yahushua the Messiah, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution G605=reconstitution (only occurrence) , from G600=restore again (8 matches) of all things, which YHWH hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Hopefully you have seen a number of these prophecies came from the mouth of the prophets.

For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall YHWH your Elohim raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you Deu 18:15. (Act 3:19-22 RNKJV)

In the scripture in Acts chapter 3 that we just read, here is Peter quoting Deuteronomy 18 at Pentecost. This time of restitution of all things will be our final highlight. Restitution means reconstruction and it’s the only occurrence and it means to restore again, yes, we see the word restore in eight different places in the New Testament but what is this time of restitution about?

– Reconstitution synonym = to restructure

To change the makeup, organization, or pattern of (organize differently)

Business – restructuring is a type of corporate action taken that involves significantly modifying the debt, operations, or structure of a company as a way of limiting financial harm and improving the business

Typical attributes
– Management change
– Austerity measures
– Personnel reduction
– Retraining
– Operational streamlining

The word restitution has a great synonym that we would use in the business world today; it means reconstitution of all things means to restructure. Things are going to be restructured, and the word ‘restructure’ means to change the makeup of an organization and to change the management structure and change the pattern of how it operates, in other words, to organize differently.

In my past business life I have been a part of restructuring of a couple of different companies. In the business world it means that restructuring is a type of a corporate action that is taken that involves significantly modifying the debt, the operations and the structure of a company as a way of eliminating any financial harm to the company and improving the business as well as to return a better return on investment to the shareholders and to all those that are involved in financing the company.

There are certain common set of attributes you find when you restructure a company in the business world today. These are pretty common, at least the ones I have seen. There is a management change; there is usually a management change sometimes at the very top. There is certainly management changes made up and down the line of authority. Typically the company has gotten in trouble and austerity measures are put in place like travel restrictions, meeting restrictions, expense restrictions, and personnel reductions associated with most restructures and personnel restructures end up with retraining programs and operational streamlining. Usually what happens is, most of the workers despise the restructure, they fight against it in the beginning and if they continue to fight they don’t end up with a job very long.

It is something like if we are going to try to make excuses not to come to the dinner banquet that we are invited to, if we keep making excuses instead of going to the dinner with Yahushua we may find ourselves outsourced in the process. This restructure of a business is going to happen when Yahushua returns. This business of the earth is going to be totally restructured. There is going to be people that will fight against it and he is going to have to put down when he first returns. Of course the beast power itself is going to have to be completely disassembled. What a world it is going to be after that, it’s going to be a totally different place to live and a different environment as we looked at.

Millennial Reign of Messiah

  • Yahushua’s mission plan established

Yahushua’s mission plan was established in 27 CE. He told us what his mission plan was here. What he quoted was Isaiah 61 at the synagogue in Nazareth and we find that in Luke 4:18:

The Spirit of YHWH is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of YHWH. (Luk 4:18-19 RNKJV)

What is the acceptable year of YHWH? It was the time of restructuring and that restructuring is going to happen. Yahushua’s first advent had to do with his original mission plan to:

1. Yahushua anointed by YHWH
2. Declare the good news of salvation to all
3. Heal the destitute and disadvantage
4. Pardon those in physical and spiritual captivity
5. Remove physical and spiritual blindness
6. Free the burdened and oppressed
7. Announce the year of YHWH’s salvation and the destruction of our enemies

That is the acceptable year, so his first advent was about this gospel message that is going to go out. Unfortunately not many have heeded it.

Millennial Reign of Messiah

  • Yahushua’s mission plan completed

When his plan is completed he is going to return to this earth and it will be interesting to see because his return is going to be at the blast of a trumpet. It says so in a number of places, a great trumpet is going to sound. That reminds me of the Jubilee that is talked about and outlined in the Torah in Leviticus 25.

Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. And ye shall hallow H6942=quodash=to be ceremonially and morally clean the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. (Lev 25:9-10 RNKJV)

1. Trumpet sounds
2. Year declared holy
3. All debts forgiven
4. All slaves go free
5. The land returns to its rightful owners
6. Yahushua returns and the millennium begins
7. HalleluYah!

Is this prophetic to the future or was this just the time every fiftieth year that the Israelites were to keep a Jubilee. It says that you shall hallow the fiftieth year, I don’t know if you have seen that before, or noticed it but the fiftieth year is hallowed, one year of holiness.

Some of the attributes of this are interesting, the Jubilee trumpet sounds, is that what we are going to hear? Is it actually a Jubilee trumpet? The year is declared as holy; wouldn’t that be just like YHWH to have Yahushua come back when we have a holy year in front of us? If you study what the Jubilee scriptures are about in this chapter, debts are forgiven. Slaves go free and the land returns to its rightful owners. Yahushua returns and begins the millennium is perhaps what this is talking about.

We see the connection to this and why Isaiah chapter 61 is so relevant because of the same topics that the Jubilee expresses here in Leviticus 25. By the way, these were the same topics that Yahushua quoted in the synagogue in Nazareth in 27 CE when he was writing there and Luke wrote about chapter 4:18.

Millennial Reign of Messiah
New World Order
Restoration of Israel

In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith YHWH that doeth this. Behold, the days come, saith YHWH, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.

It’s amazing that the plowman overtakes the reaper, in other words, the guys that are harvesting can’t harvest fast enough because the guys that are planting for the next crop are right at their heels. What a time that will be.

And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith YHWH thy Elohim. . . (Amo 9:11-15 RNKJV)

– Ubiquitous family farm businesses
– Friendly agricultural weather patterns
– Abundant fresh, clean, wholesome, tasty, nutritious food
– Universal world peace, reciprocal respect
– Safe, secure, honest and loving society
– Consistent worship, perfect alignment and harmony with YHWH
– Unanimous acceptance of Yahushua Messiah as King of Kings

To highlight what is said here, ubiquitous family farm businesses are going to be springing up everywhere. Agriculture is just going to flourish, there is going to be good weather patterns and we won’t have to deal with the droughts that we are seeing here in the end times. There will be a friendly agricultural weather patterns that will be persistent. There will be abundant, fresh clean food for all. There won’t be famines.

There will be universal world peace and reciprocal respect, loving your neighbor as yourself will be common place not just the exception. There will be safe, secure, honest and a loving society. Honesty is going to prevail and people are going to be consistently worshipping YHWH. He is going to be known about, you won’t have to ask your neighbor if they are a believer or not. Today we meet somebody and one of the questions that I ask before too long is if they are a believer. Most say no or I’m not sure, I hear I’m not sure quite a bit.

There will be consistent worship in the millennium, there is going to be perfect alignment and harmony with YHWH. There will be unanimous understanding and acceptance of Yahushua Messiah as the King of Kings. What a day we have to look forward to.

Do Your Own Homework

That gets us to the end of this fourth session, I’ve given you a lot of scriptures, and I’ve perhaps given you some controversy to consider. I have given you food for thought to hopefully consider. Read what Paul says in Philippians

And this I (Paul) pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; That ye may approve G1381=test, discern, examine things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Messiah. (Php 1:8-10 KJV)

If we are without offense; that means we are blameless doesn’t it? We want to be blameless and the synonym for blameless is holy. We want to be holy before the day that Messiah comes. It’s the only way, the only path.

All scripture is given by inspiration of YHWH, and is profitable G5624= helpful advantageous for doctrine G1319=instruction, learning for reproof G1650=admonish, conviction for correction, G1343=equity of character or act, justification. (2Ti 3:16 KJV)

Be sure to do your own homework, don’t listen to the opinion of anyone, test these things whether they be so.

For we have not followed cunningly devised G4679=Sofidzo=to render wise with deliberate deception, continue plausible error=sophist fables, when we made know unto you the power and coming of our Master Yahushua Messiah, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. (2Pet 1:16 KJV)

Sophism (Merriam Webster) – an argument apparently correct in form but actually invalid; especially such an argument used to deceive.

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy G5385=Jewish sophistry and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Messiah.
(Col 2:8 KJV)
